| Ptarmigan! We ran across several groupings of Ptarmigan near Green and Italy Lakes. They didn't seem overly concerned, just sort of skirted around us. The ptarmigan still had summer/fall plumage and I (Mike) thought their feather-covered feet were particularly unique. Then again I wouldn't want to be up here without socks either! |
