Scroll right for Terry and Steve. 180 degree view of Hanging Lake. A wooden walkway provides access along and above the down canyon shore of Hanging Lake. The lake itself was phenomenally clear and maybe six to 10 feet deep. It was half-covered with a thin overlay of ice. Through the water we saw old logs, rocky alcoves, sand, submerged moss and even several trout seemingly suspended in the nothingness. Smaller sizes: 700 pixels, 950 pixels, 1200 pixels. |
